I made Girlfriend bags for my sisters. We're going to be vacationing together later in July and I thought it would be fun for them to have something knitted from me.
I've used this red and green combination before. It reminds me of a tomato.
I don't think I've ever made one of these in a single color.
The variegated yarn created this nifty spiral of colors, that looked planned. I love it when that happens.
They were a hit. Later I received a note from one of them telling me she'd used it to haul her stuff to the beach, "and I was amazed at how much it held!"
