I'm getting a lot of use from this thrifted sweater. The colors and Fair Isle pattern are so pleasing. I decided to make a cellphone cozy.
I removed the pockets with a seam ripper and then gave them a good felting in the kitchen sink.
I estimated the size and allowed a quarter inch for seam allowance.
Then with the right sides together, I stitched it on the sewing machine, turned it right side out and gave it a light pressing.
Snug as a bug and less worry about damage if it should drop out of my purse.
